Information from Trevor:
-the summit is 3,165 feet
-entry is $5 for anyone over 12 and free for under 12
-the trail head entrance and parking is at 116 Poole Rd in Jaffrey, NH
-I figured we would take the white dot trial up which is 1.9 miles and the white cross trail down which is 2 miles (total of 3.9 mile round trip hike)
-sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers should be worn (no sandals or open toed shoes!)
-backpack with plenty of water, snacks and something to eat at the top
-this is a nice athletic hike and people who are in decent shape should find it very enjoyable though most likely challenging in a couple parts! If someone is on the fence I would ask them if they could do a 5 mile walk on the treadmill, if the answer is no it would probably be a very strenuous and un-enjoyable time.
-hope for great weather this year and the colors will be beautiful!
